For a PE platform acquisition, Quantum conducted ODD of a manufacturer of meters, controls and infrastructure for Utilities, with multiple manufacturing plants in North America and Europe.  Quantum conducted site visits to all the N.American manufacturing plants, and assessed operating capabilities at each of the plants.  Quantum also reviewed and pressure tested Management’s projections for planned cost-out initiatives.  Quantum developed potential EBITDA improvements that  included lean / operating efficiencies, sourcing improvements, in-sourcing and other cost out opportunities.  Quantum also developed scenarios for footprint rationalization to accomodate insourcing and planned growth.
